Photography For Change™ is a nonprofit organization whose sole mission is to raise money for charitable causes through the sale of photographs.
How do you make money for charity?
Every time somebody buys a photograph, either for print or for digital, 100% of the proceeds go to charity. This means that after print costs, the rest of the money is donated to another nonprofit of the photographer's choosing. For digital copies, 100% of the purchase price is donated!
How do you decide where to send the money?
For each photograph or set of photographs, the photographer chooses which charity to send proceeds to. Say, if the photograph is of the California coast, the photographer may decide to send proceeds to help preserve coastal waters and beaches.
How do you make sure a charity is good?
We maintain a charity whitelist, which mirrors the Charity Navigator.
